PDM Studio is based on the classic product development process, based on a deep understanding of user requirements and behavior. It was developed by engineers for engineers. PDM Studio aims to adapt to and support the requirements of users as much as possible.
This starts with a configurable user interface. So each user has the possibility to adapt the program ideally to his needs and working methods.
In addition, PDM Studio offers wizards at many points that guide the user through processes (e.g. creation of a new document or approvals). This promotes consistent work practices and reduces errors. Thanks to PDM Studio, users can concentrate on the important things. Since all users have access to the "single source of truth", the previous time-consuming coordination effort also becomes largely superfluous.
PDM Studio also relieves users of tedious routine tasks such as exporting neutral formats, creating derivatives of sheet metal parts, or manually populating properties such as part numbers. PDM Studio operates in the background and does not want to burden the user.
The necessary data maintenance is kept within limits and takes place incidentally in the course of processing the parts or assemblies. PDM Studio synchronizes information once it has been entered at all points where it is needed. All this means that PDM Studio enjoys a high level of acceptance among all user groups.
